The idea for Live a Little originated during a 7-month cross country trip in our very first van build. This journey opened our eyes to what's possible and ignited our desire to help others realize their dreams. We seek to provide a reliable, comfortable and self-sufficient method to experience what van living has to offer.
It’s our hope that we can turn what may feel like a far-off dream into an attainable reality. Our East coast location is centrally located between New York City and Boston. We’re ideally situated to access great Northeast destinations such as the Green Mountains of Vermont, the coast of Maine or historical Quebec City.
About Us
Live a Little is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit of travel, adventure and learning. Ryan has always had a passion for embarking on ambitious projects in both his professional and personal career. Before this company became a reality, Ryan spent 12 years working in Manufacturing as a Plant Manager, Quality Manager and other roles. This experience provided him the unique ability to turn a passion into a business.
Along with his professional experience, Ryan has continuously fostered a love for travel. In recent years that’s taken the shape of international motorcycle trips to countries like Ecuador, Colombia and Ireland. Most recently, he completed a road trip across the US in a van, which rounded out a lifelong goal of visiting all 50 states.
This latest venture is an avenue to inspire and enable others who share similar values and goals in their own lives.

Kyle joined Live A Little, in 2021, providing him the opportunity to utilize his expertise as a carpenter while combining his love for adventure and vehicles. Not unlike Ryan, his childhood friend and brother-in-law, Kyle also has a passion for the outdoors. This has led him on several off-road motorcycle trips throughout the Northeast and includes his favorite pastime – fishing. Prior to Live A Little, Kyle had established a successful company encompassing both large scale home remodels and specialized carpentry projects.
Today, it is with dedication, perseverance, and creativity that Kyle now fabricates custom conversion vans at Live A Little. Each van offers a unique opportunity to customize a space that is completely individualized to the client’s personality and needs. This challenge of engineering 100 sq. ft. of empty van into a well-designed, quality, modern space is where Kyle and the Live A Little team excel.
